"A Grizzly Chance" starts out with the main character 'Ed' hiking out into the mountains on a dark mission of self-destruction. He is sick and tired and unable to deal with the many disappointments life has thrown his way. In an unusual twist of fate Ed meets up with a large bear that causes him to reconsider just what his life is worth. This story tells its 'Good To Be Alive' message with the same brisk pacing Jake Orlo is known for in his detective murder mysteries.
